Who is Fable?

Local shop with local flavors is the heart of Fable Ice Cream. Inspired by Vintage drawings of Aesop's Fables and turn of the century book stamps the logo mark has just enough whimsy to fit the brand.

Inspriation

The founders of Fable loved the design of vintage book stamps and story books from the turn of the century. Working together we looked for inspiration and pulled source images from their personal collection and artwork that would be displayed in their business.

Word mark

The word mark serves as the foundation of the brand with the iconic F used as a stand alone brand mark on packaging. Special care was taken in selecting packaging to reduce environmental impact, using compostables where possible.

Social media aesthetics and photography style

Fable brought a unique perspective on ice cream flavours in experimentation and invention to coffee an beverages. This unique perspective is reflected in the photography and images used in advertising and across social media. Hand drawn images, simple images and moments of community interaction are focal points.
